Today, Secretary-General of ASEAN Dr Kao Kim Hourn delivered a Statement at the 44th General Assembly of the ASEAN Inter-Parliamentary Assembly (AIPA) themed “Responsive Parliament for a Stable and Prosperous ASEAN”.
Dr Kao encouraged parliamentarians of the ASEAN Member States to promote socially responsible and sustainable policymaking at both national and regional levels.
Dr Kao also assured parliamentarians that the ASEAN Secretariat stands ready to forge closer and more meaningful cooperation with AIPA to better contribute to the ASEAN Community-building process.
