Deputy Secretary-General of ASEAN (DSG) for ASEAN Political-Security Community (APSC), H.E. Michael Tene delivered a lecture on “ASEAN and the Indo-Pacific” at the Luigi Einaudi Campus of the University of Turin in Turin, Italy.
The lecture was participated by postgraduate students from University of Turin and academia from the surrounding universities. Vice Mayor of the City of Turin and representatives from Torino World Affairs Institute (T.wai) were also in attendance, as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Italy is planning to hold and sponsor the 3rd Torino-ASEAN Business Days.
During the lecture, DSG Tene discussed ASEAN journey towards peace and prosperity and shared ideas on how ASEAN and Italy could enhance their Development Partnership, thus playing a greater role in the Indo-Pacific amidst the growing geo-politics and geo-economics challenges that the world is facing.
